The Cobra take off

Born from the meeting between a fan of the emblematic Cobra,
member of the Cobra club of France,
and the sculpture enthusiast that I am.

I went to see the Shelby Cobra 427 at the shows, photograph it, measure it, feel it and experience it. I talked with the enthusiasts present on the stands, understand its history.
This bronze sculpture is an interpretation inspired by the original forms (made at 1/10),
the lower part participating in the sculptural effect, the momentum and the movement felt.

Its famous logo sculpted in volume,
the wire attaching the domed plate symbolizing the road to the nut,
are all winks to the attention of Cobra fans.

The 1:1 scale nut, molded on an original nut,
is the only element of the sculpture that was not created by my hand.
